KVKK CCTV Privacy Notice
Closed-circuit camera systems on school premises are used to protect the safety of the school, students and employees, support occupational safety processes and enable necessary supervision. The official notice states that no audio is recorded through the cameras.
Data Processed
The camera system may record images of persons within the school. Monitoring areas are limited so that they do not exceed the security purpose or unnecessarily interfere with privacy.

Image recordings are processed on legal bases recognized under KVKK, including school/student safety, occupational health and safety, legal obligations, establishment/protection of rights and the legitimate interests of the data controller.

Retention Period
The official CCTV notice states that camera recordings are retained by the school for 30 days and are then destroyed in accordance with the destruction policy.
Transfer
Camera recordings may be shared with legally authorized public institutions, judicial authorities and law enforcement within the framework of applicable law and required security measures. Any other transfer must separately comply with KVKK.
Your Rights
Data subjects may ask whether their images are processed, request information, learn the purposes and third-party recipients, request correction/deletion where applicable and exercise their rights in case of unlawful processing.
